MUA Match uses cookies and similar technologies on its website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit our website. We only use them to make the website work properly, for example to remember your language and your cookie choice.
Cookies do not damage your device and generally do not contain viruses.
2. Which cookies does MUA Match use?
Functional cookies
These cookies and similar technologies are needed for the website to work properly. We only use:
- NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): remembers your language, 1 year.
- muamatch_cookie_consent (local storage): remembers your cookie choice until you clear it.
These cookies may be placed without consent where they are strictly necessary for providing the service requested by the user.
Analytical and performance cookies
With your consent (Analytics in the cookie banner) we use Mixpanel to measure visits to the website: which pages are viewed and which buttons, such as those to the App Store and Google Play, are used. For this Mixpanel stores an identifier in your browser (a cookie starting with mp_), for at most one year. Without your consent we place nothing and measure nothing. Mixpanel processes this data on our behalf in the EU; see our privacy policy.
Payment-related technologies
No payments are made on the website. Payments run in the app through Stripe; see our privacy policy.
Marketing cookies
We currently use no marketing cookies, such as the Meta Pixel. If we start doing so, only after you have given your consent.
3. Cookie preferences
When you visit the MUA Match website, you can choose which categories of cookies you allow through the cookie banner.
You can accept, reject, or adjust your cookie preferences at any time. You may also delete cookies through your browser settings.
Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the availability or functionality of parts of the platform.
You can reopen your preferences at any time via the Cookie preferences link in the footer of the website. Your choice is stored on your device.
Your choice for analytical cookies takes effect at once. We currently use no marketing cookies; your choice for those only takes effect once we start using them, and we will first update this policy.
4. Third-party cookies
The website does not place third-party cookies. The Mixpanel cookie is placed on our own domain, and only with your consent. Our hosting provider Netlify processes your IP address to deliver the website; see our privacy policy.
5. Changes to this Cookie Policy
MUA Match reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy when changes are made to the cookies and technologies used on the platform or when legal requirements change.
The most recent version will always be available on the MUA Match website.
