You send a booking request through the app. The artist has 48 hours to accept or decline, or until the appointment starts if that is sooner. After acceptance you pay the 20% deposit plus the service fee within 48 hours, and before the appointment starts. Then your booking is confirmed. Anything not confirmed in time lapses automatically, at no cost.

No. Through the app you only pay the 20% deposit plus the service fee to confirm the booking. The remaining 80% of the session price is paid directly to the artist, for example on the day of your appointment.

On top of the deposit, you pay a fixed service fee to MUA Match for each booking. The amount depends on the session price and is shown in the app before you pay.

You can cancel a confirmed booking in the app until the appointment starts. More than 24 hours before, your deposit is refunded, the service fee is not. Within 24 hours of the appointment, or if you do not attend, the deposit and the service fee are not refunded. You cannot move a booking yourself: before you pay, the artist can propose another time. Once paid, the time is fixed.

If the artist cancels a confirmed booking, your deposit and the service fee are refunded. If the artist does not show up, report it through ‘Report Issue’ on your booking, no later than 24 hours after the appointment ends; after that the booking is completed automatically. Under our terms the deposit and the service fee are then refunded as well; MUA Match reviews your report.

Yes. The app is free to download for both clients and makeup artists. Creating an account costs nothing; you only pay when you actually book.

Glam AI, the smart assistant in the app, finds artists who really offer the look you want, even from a photo you upload. Your appointment is confirmed with a small deposit and tracked in the app.

Glam AI is the AI assistant in the app. Describe the look you want or upload a photo, and Glam AI finds artists who really offer that service, with their prices and availability. A Glam AI answer is advice, not a booking: you always book yourself through the artist's profile.

No. MUA Match is a platform that connects clients with independent makeup artists. The appointment itself is an agreement between you and the artist, who is responsible for carrying out the service.

Artists sign up through the app. You must be 18 or older. Create your account and accept the terms and conditions. Then set up your profile with your services, prices, portfolio and availability. As soon as you finish the steps, your profile goes live.

You keep 96% of the session price, without high commissions. With extras such as promotion packages you can grow your visibility even further!

The client pays a 20% deposit of the session price through the app. MUA Match keeps 20% of that deposit (4% of the session price). Your share, 80% of the deposit, is paid out after the appointment completes automatically, 24 hours after it ends; we aim for 3 to 5 business days. To receive it, add your bank account in the app and confirm your details with our payment partner Stripe. The client pays the remaining 80% of the session price directly to you.

MUA Match does not charge or collect VAT for makeup artists. You arrange the VAT and other taxes on your services yourself.

No. Structuring payments outside the platform to avoid the platform fees is not allowed and can lead to suspension. The deposit always runs through the platform; only the remaining 80% is settled directly.

Fake or misleading information, spam, offensive content and bypassing platform payments are not allowed. MUA Match can temporarily block or remove an account in such cases. You can report a profile, photo, review or booking in the app or via info@muamatch.com.

In the app, via Settings. You can do so as long as no booking is in progress and no payout is open. What then happens to your data is described in our privacy policy.
